Ahead of World Refugee Day (20 June), Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie travelled to the Turkey-Syria border to hear the stories of Syrian civilians forced to flee their country.

She also traveled with UNHCR chief António Guterres to meet boat people, including unaccompanied minors, on a tiny Italian island on Sunday and remembered those who have lost their lives trying to reach Lampedusa by sea from Africa.

You can “do 1 thing” to help.

More about refugees is available on the UN web site.
